In particular, how we contribute – or think we contribute – to a better world. We will not have all the answers, but we want to ask better questions.
“The vicarious responsibility for things we have not done, this taking upon ourselves the consequences for things we are entirely innocent of, is the price we pay for the fact that we live our lives not by ourselves but among our fellow men, and that the faculty of action, which, after all, is the political faculty par excellence, can be actualized only as one of the many and manifold forces of human community.” — Hannah Arendt
"History works through people and we have availed ourselves to history to work through us." — Bantu Stephen Biko
“It’s not always easy to be comfortable in the space created by open questions. It’s tempting to hide in small rooms built from quick answers.”― Merlin Sheldrake
"Humility is admitting that I don’t know the whole story. Compassion is recognising that you don’t know it either."— Anon
“Words should not seek to please, to hide the wounds in our bodies, or the shameful moments in our lives. They may hurt, give us pain, but they can also provoke us to question what we have accepted for thousands of years.” ― Nawal El Saadawi
"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music." ― Friedrich Nietzsche
